Congratulations — you’re finally awake.
You know you don’t want to be an NPC anymore, and you know the assembly line isn’t your fate.
But the next morning when you open your eyes, you still have to go to work, and the loan payments haven’t shrunk by a cent.
This is worse than not waking up. Before, you were muddled, and you could put up with it; now you see clearly but don’t know which way to move.
Now and then you try to change something, get fired up for two days, then inertia drags you back. Three steps forward, two steps back.
You’ve signed up for courses, bought books, and late one night posted something visible only to yourself: “Starting tomorrow.”
The next day the alarm went off. You hit snooze. Rolled over.
Then you started to doubt: can I really do this? Why does life stay exactly the same?
The question isn’t whether you’re capable.
You’re just missing one thing: the instruction manual for this game.
It isn’t long. Just eight lines.
But reading it cold, you’ll most likely be lost.
So first, let’s lay out together where it comes from, how it is set up, and its key mechanics, one by one.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 Why you came
LV.01 [██░░░░░░░░] 14%
Let’s start with the most fundamental thing: why are you here?
You may have heard some answers. To repay a debt, to pass through a trial, to complete a mission.
Not wrong, but each tells only half the story.
These answers have one thing in common: something above you is sending you here under escort.
If you really were brought here under escort, then you’d just have swapped to a bigger server and gone on being an NPC. Waking up or not would make no difference.
But the version I’ve come to understand isn’t like that.
Before this game began, there was no you and no me, only one complete whole. Some call it the Source, some call it the Tao, some call it the One.
The name doesn’t matter. Because it is everything.
But precisely because it is everything, there is one thing it cannot do: experience itself.
The sea doesn’t know it is wet. The wind doesn’t know it is moving.
Knowing and experiencing are two different things.
Because within the absolute One, there is nothing else to stand opposite it.
Without darkness, light is only light; without loss, having is only a concept.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
You are not a small piece that broke off from the whole.
You are the whole, experiencing itself through this life of “you.”
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
And so the One entered the Many.
It didn’t truly split apart. It only began, from countless limited positions, to see itself again and live itself again.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
You are not its employee, sent out on assignment, nor a tool in its hands.
You are an avatar it opened for itself, to turn knowing into experience.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Before coming to Earth, you drew yourself a picture: who I will become after passing through this human world.
That picture is your soul blueprint.
Since you came to experience, what’s drawn on it is naturally something you haven’t lived yet. Otherwise, why make the trip?
Then you chose a server. Earth: famous across the universe as a hardcore server, also known as the soul’s forge. It is known for thick walls of forgetting and heavy three-dimensional rules, and it is best at polishing a chaotic soul into a diamond.
As the last step, you picked up the bowl of soup.
You knew that if you drank it, you would forget. Forget the picture, forget home, forget that you chose all of this yourself.
You even knew the risk: you might stay trapped in your character your whole life and never remember, right up to the end.
You drank it anyway.
Because you trusted that even if you forgot everything, one day you would still recognize yourself.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
You, reading this right now: this is that day.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
At this point you might feel a flash of anger: so by that logic, all the suffering of these years was my choice too?
No. What you drew was only the destination. What you would pass through and run into along the way wasn’t on the picture.
So you have only one purpose on Earth: to use this body to live the blueprint on paper into reality.
In the process, inch by inch, you will forge a soul that did not exist before you joined the server: an Earth-edition you.
Don’t underestimate it.
Compared with the all-knowing you before the server, it has one more thing: experience.
And experience has no standard; it’s different for every person — a dream, for instance, might be a mission, or it might simply be to love with your whole heart, once.
So this life of yours, however ordinary it looks to others, happens only once and will never come again.
When this Earth soul, covered in marks, and the Source soul from before the server become one,
that state is called the Oversoul.
“Over” as in going beyond: beyond the you who could only “know,” and beyond the you who is stuck in three dimensions right now.
That is where it comes from.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 Two stages
LV.02 [███░░░░░░░] 28%
But don’t rush. You can’t start the real work the moment you log in.
This game has a clear timeline, split into two stages.
There is only one dividing line: whether you can stand on your own.
Before you stand on your own: the starter village, idle phase.
At this stage, everyone is a legitimate NPC.
You first have to adapt to Earth’s rules, wrestle with life, gather the resources to survive, save up a little silver.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Talking about ultimate meaning before your stomach is full isn’t awakening; it’s theory on paper.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
So this stage is about idling within the given rules. There’s no shame in it; that’s how the base settings work.
After you stand on your own: the main-quest awakening phase.
Once you can stand on your feet, once making a living is no longer chasing you and fear is no longer making your decisions, you’ve earned your ticket to the main quest.
Everyone progresses differently. Some find their feet at twenty-two; some stumble along and only catch their breath at forty-four.
But for everyone there comes a day, a trigger, when you suddenly wake up
and faintly remember the blueprint that is yours.
So don’t look back and resent those detours.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
They weren’t detours. They were the starter village you had to pass through.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Without the foundation you saved up back then, you couldn’t even reach the ticket for the main quest.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 The three-piece set you carry
LV.03 [████░░░░░░] 43%
Now that you know where it comes from and the timeline, let’s look at your machine.
You carry three things.
Body: your flesh and your brain. This machine cares about only one thing: keeping you alive and safe on Earth.
Don’t blame it; it shipped that way. It’s like an alarm that never learned to be quiet.
Let it ring. You don’t have to run over every time.
Spirit: your soul’s main account. The real player outside the screen.
It still holds the complete blueprint you drew before joining the server. It isn’t anxious, doesn’t wear itself out. It’s always there, in no hurry.
Heart: not the organ beating in your chest.
It is an antenna. One end connects down to the body machine, the other up to the soul blueprint.
All its life, the heart does only one thing: choose the channel.
Point the antenna down and it picks up the brain’s fear; the line is cut. You run on the subconscious and old karma.
This is called NPC idle state.
Point the antenna up and it picks up the soul’s blueprint; the line connects. What comes through is the power of intention.
This is called player-awakened state.
Let’s pause here.
Have you ever wondered
why, across ages and cultures, the paths of cultivating the heart — meditation, insight practice, stillness, the extension of innate knowing — all point the same way:
look within, draw inward, let yourself grow still?
Not to teach you to withdraw from the world.
But because only when you are still can you hear that very faint call at the top of the antenna.
Outside is too noisy. The alarm is too loud. All day long it pulls you around, and you can’t receive the signal from the other end.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Resting in yourself simply means keeping the antenna pointed upward.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
So what you have to do was never to get rid of fear. You can’t get rid of that voice; it comes built in.
You only choose, in each present moment: this time, which way will I point?
Just that.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
That choice is where the power of intention begins.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 How to find your path
LV.04 [█████░░░░░] 57%
Everyone’s blueprint is different, so the quest to clear the game is custom-made for you alone.
There is no ready-made walkthrough. You can only try it yourself, bump into things, and confirm.
Here is the key point where most people get stuck: setting an intention is neither forcing yourself forward nor daydreaming.
An intention is a direction given to this body by the complete you above, once your heart is connected.
It isn’t “I want more.” It’s “I am walking toward her.”
You try a level and find it isn’t right.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
That isn’t failure. That’s the system crossing off a road that doesn’t go through.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
If you’re lucky, you find it in a few tries. If not, try a few more.
That itself is playing.
When the direction is truly settled, your relationship with the world changes with it.
It isn’t that the blueprint conjures resources out of thin air and sets them in front of you. It’s that you begin making choices around that direction. You put your time into it, you’re willing to bear the cost, and you’re willing to stay at the table for the long run. Only then can people, events and opportunities that had nothing to do with each other link up along the same direction.
Sometimes this linking-up comes so neatly it feels like a push from something. You can call it providence.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
But when providence lands on you, it is usually because you first walked to a place where it could happen.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 The Player’s Law of Creation
LV.05 [██████░░░░░] 71%
All right, let’s string the settings above together:
You came to Earth to live the blueprint on paper into reality.
Before you stand on your own, you run the starter village; only after do you get the ticket to the main quest.
You come with a three-piece set: the body machine, the soul blueprint, and the antenna between them called the heart.
There’s no walkthrough for the main quest; you can only try again and again, and rule things out again and again. And the trying itself is the playing.
One more thing, so you know in advance: in the eight lines below there is a “her.”
She isn’t someone else. She is the complete you on the blueprint.
I call her “her” because, for someone who hasn’t reached her yet, that self really does feel like another person.
You don’t have to believe it all first. Just borrow my eyes and take a look. Notice only one thing: which line made you pause.
Good. Now you can read the eight lines.
My power of intention can change my karma.
From here it begins: I choose, I practice, I become.
The me I choose has long been drawn into my soul blueprint.
I need only walk toward her, steadily, with knowing and doing as one.
The ending is already set.
And there is still a distance between her and me.
So I go along with every present moment.
The experience of this moment is surely here to fulfill and complete me.
If it still sounds a little mystical on first reading, that’s fine. Let’s take it apart, layer by layer.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Becoming isn’t building a new you.
It is becoming, through experience, the you on your soul blueprint.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
My power of intention can change my karma.
What is karma? First, don’t picture someone up in the sky keeping accounts.
Something happens and leaves a result; that result becomes the starting point of the next thing. Thoughts lead to choices, choices form actions, actions repeated become habits, and habits push you back toward similar results. This ever-continuing chain of cause and effect is what karma looks like in you.
The standards your family gave you, the reactions your surroundings trained into you, the defenses you built after being hurt — they’re all in the chain. They make you walk back down a road you know is wrong, the very next time.
Karma isn’t fate. It’s only causes that have already happened, pushing you toward a certain result.
The power of intention is putting in a new cause just when the chain of cause and effect is about to run on as before.
You can’t change what has already happened, but starting from this moment’s choice, you can keep what comes next from simply repeating what came before.
I choose, I practice, I become.
The order can’t be shuffled. Choose first, then practice, and only last, become.
Many people stop at step one. They think they’ve chosen, but they only like the imagined result.
A real choice only counts once it has been practiced.
Practice isn’t a step tacked on after choosing. It is the only channel through which intention enters reality. Without practice, the choice happens only in your head, and the old chain of cause and effect doesn’t change an inch.
If you say you want to be healthy, in the end it comes down to what time you sleep tonight, what you eat, whether you move. If you say you want freedom, in the end it comes down to whether you are building the ability to leave, and whether you dare to bear the cost of your time and choices.
Practice also doesn’t mean never missing a day again. It means continuing after you break off, and correcting after you drift. Doing it right once changes nothing; doing it again and again forms a new inertia.
Your schedule, your spending and your long-term investments are more honest than any declaration.
Choice gives direction; practice paves the road. Walk the road long enough and you become the person you chose.
I need only walk toward her. The you you choose doesn’t need to be created by you. She is already there.
She is the complete figure on the blueprint, drawn by your own hand before you joined the server.
The difference is huge: if you’re building something that doesn’t exist, you don’t know whether you can, and after two steps you want to give up. Walking toward somewhere that already exists is a navigation problem. The destination is on the map, and you drive toward her.
You think you have to “become a better version of yourself.” Not quite. Becoming isn’t building a new you. It’s recognizing again the most abundant you on the blueprint.
Drift off course, correct. Fall down, get up. Because the direction is set.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
You only need to ask yourself one question:
Is this choice
bringing me closer to her, or further away?
This one question can cut away a great many wasted moves.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
The ending is already set, and there is still a distance between her and me.
This line is the keyhole of the whole law.
“The ending is already set” isn’t lying flat. It means you have settled on who you will become, and you calmly admit there is still a gap.
Precisely because of that gap, no moment of the present is an accident.
Let me draw a line here first, so you don’t misread what follows.
Saying “this moment is here to complete me” doesn’t mean you deserved what happened. Harm others do to you is their responsibility; hold them accountable where you should, keep away where you should. You did not come here to take the blame for anyone.
It’s about something else: the thing has already landed on you. You can let it simply smash a hole, or you can use it to see what you lack and which piece you need to fill in.
The experience itself won’t write the answer for you. Being let down might show you where your bottom line is; it might also just be telling you it’s time to leave.
A failure might be testing whether you really want it; it might also be telling you this road is wrong, and it’s time to go another way.
Holding on and turning around can both be the answer. The difference is whether you decide after seeing clearly, or retreat to the old road automatically out of fear.
So going along with the present doesn’t mean explaining everything that happens as “for my own good,” and still less meekly accepting whatever comes.
It means first admitting: this has happened. Then not rushing to judge it as good luck or bad, but seeing clearly what it has exposed, what it has changed, and what choice it now asks of you.
The present won’t complete you automatically. How you respond to it decides what this experience finally becomes in your life.
The experience of this moment is surely here to fulfill and complete me.
The truly hard part of this line is the word “surely.”
It isn’t saying every event is kind in itself, nor that every pain deserves gratitude.
It is saying: whatever happens, we don’t hand over the right to interpret our own lives.
Pain may have no meaning. But I can see boundaries, costs and choices in it, and let it become part of how I judge from then on.
Mistakes don’t automatically bring growth either. Only when you’ve reviewed them, owned them, and actually done it differently next time are they not wasted.
Fulfilling and completing isn’t something the experience does for you. It’s what you make of the experience.
All of this is to fulfill and complete me. Not to win for anyone to see, not to finally be approved of by someone. It is so that I can become me — shaping myself, through experience, into the soul blueprint drawn before I ever joined the server.

🔑 Your Way, and Earth’s Way
LV.06 [███████░░░░] 85%
That’s the law. Before you go, I want to show you something bigger.
Remember the whole from the beginning? You are one angle it divided into; your blueprint is the facet you were given.
Followed to its deepest point, this angle has a direction. Not a career, not a goal, not “the value I want to realize.”
It’s that feeling: when you do a certain kind of thing, your whole self comes alive. No one has to push you; you’d do it even if no one were watching; when you’re tired you rest a while and still want to go back to it.
You’ve had moments like that. Think — what were you doing?
The direction that state points to is your personal Way.
And this server, Earth, has its own Way.
Since it went live, its direction has only ever been one: to let life flourish more, let consciousness grow clearer, let everything here grow toward something better.
Now comes the deepest mechanic of this game:
when your Way runs in the same direction as Earth’s Way, the whole server supports you.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Those who walk against the Way have to grab.
Those who walk with it are carried.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Sound mystical? It’s really just this:
things that make the world a little better are, by nature, things other people truly need. When your intention lands on what others need, people will naturally, little by little, put opportunities, resources and goodwill into your hands.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
What we call help from heaven is, most of the time, help from people.
It’s just that those who walk with the Way attract more and more support.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
So how do you tell whether you are following desire or the Way? Here are two voices you can learn to hear:
Desire says: I want to possess, I want to grab, I want to beat others.
The Way says: someone ought to do this. I’ll do it.
Doing what desire wants, the more you do, the deeper you sink, the more you are covered in fixations, and even when you win you are always afraid of losing it.
Walking the Way may be tiring and hard, but the further you go, the steadier you become, and the more grounded your heart feels.
Finally, you might ask: what if my blueprint and Earth’s direction are different?
They won’t be.
Every angle divided from the whole is the whole itself. No angle came here to make the world darker.
You may think of a counterexample right away: what about people who do evil? Did they come from the whole too?
Yes.
But “coming from the whole” only tells you where life comes from; it doesn’t guarantee that every choice a person makes matches the blueprint. People have free will, and they can be twisted by fear, desire, trauma and power. Harming others is precisely a choice they make in reality.
A blueprint is a possibility, not an exemption. What a person finally lives out depends on what they choose, again and again, and they must bear the consequences of those choices.
Every blueprint is your small piece of the better shape this planet wants to grow into.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
So we don’t all have to do something earth-shaking.
Living yourself out well
is a complete small piece in itself.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
🔑 Finally, from the heart
LV.07 [█████████░░] 99%
Your life won’t change because you understood this article. I won’t lie to you.
Change never happens in the moment of “I get it.”
Change only happens when, the next time you’re about to flee back into the old script, you stop.
The next time the antenna wavers between two channels, you choose, and point it up.
The next time you want to give in, you hold on.
The next time you want to fool yourself, you don’t let yourself get away with it.
Just that little bit. Choose once, and again. Clear one level, then the next. Inch by inch, closer to her.
Having written this far, what I most want to say to you isn’t “you can do it.”
It’s this: don’t rush to pass final judgment on yourself based on where you are right now.
What you’re living out now is only you so far. She carries the marks of old habits, and of choices your circumstances made for you, but she isn’t all of you.
For the rest of your life, that blueprint is still there. You can still begin, from your next choice, to recognize your way back. She is drawn in the deepest place of your soul, complete, not a single stroke missing.
And now you know: the direction on that blueprint and the direction this planet wants to go are one and the same.
She can wait. All you need to do is take one more step toward her.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Just one step.
▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
You don’t need to find paper now, or make any vow.
Just one thing: tonight, before you turn off the light, ask yourself honestly —
What kind of her do I really want to become?
Today, which thing I did brought me closer to her? Which took me further away?
You don’t have to answer to anyone. You know in your own heart.
Once you know, tomorrow you’ll know which way to take one more step.
And that is enough. 🌈
